Graduate School Preparatory Courses

Being an international student in a U.S. graduate program can be overwhelming.  From understanding the culture and expectations of the U.S. classroom to giving presentations and writing papers, there are many challenges that international graduate students face when they study in the U.S.  One World Training has extensive experience in working with non-native speakers of English and in preparing them for the rigors of MBA, Public Policy, Telecommunications and other programs.  Our courses are tailored to the needs of our students, and we are experts at customizing our training to the desired training lengths of our clients.  We currently offer a two-week program at the University of Colorado in Boulder, but we can also come to other universities and set up training programs as well.

Our training programs cover such areas as:

   - Culture of the US Classroom
   - Presentation Skills
   - Case Study Discussion Skills
   - Negotiation Skills
   - Academic Writing
   - Business Writing
   - Working with a Team
   - Assertive Communication

Course Dates

July 23 to August 3, 2012 - Leeds School of Business, University of Colorado at Boulder

If your university is interested in a customized program, we can set this up for you.
